Leather

This Light Havana bridle leather comes from Sedgwick’s renowned hides, a name that stands for British quality and tradition. Sedgwick & Co craft premium bridle leather using time-honoured vegetable tanning methods and top-grade cattle hides from the UK and Ireland.
As a result, each belt offers exceptional strength, lasting durability, and a rich natural lustre that develops beautifully over time. The leather comes from a UK distributor holding the King’s Royal Warrant, reflecting the finest standards of British craftsmanship.

Buckle

The belt features a 1¼-inch (32 mm) “West End”-style buckle made from solid stainless steel. This design ensures outstanding strength and complete resistance to rust.

Keepers

You’ll find two narrow sewn-in keepers positioned just after the buckle, along with one loose, free-moving keeper. The latter helps hold down the strap’s end securely whenever needed.

Edges

Each belt edge is hand-polished with a natural-coloured finish. This gives the cut leather a uniform look while also reducing moisture absorption for better longevity.

Thread

The buckle and fixed keeper are hand-stitched using yellow Tiger thread, known for its toughness and bold contrast. The loose keeper is sewn in the same thread, with eight precise stitches per inch.

Belt Size

This belt measures 46 inches, approximately UK women’s size 26*.

Sizing Guide

According to the M&S sizing chart, a women’s size 26 corresponds to this 46-inch belt.
As a general rule, add two inches (around 5 cm) to your trouser size to find your belt size. Although this method doesn’t fit everyone, it’s an excellent starting point.
Alternatively, measure your current belt—from where the leather turns over the buckle to the hole you use most often.
The Belt Makers measure all belts from the turn of the buckle to the centre hole, giving room for adjustment on either side.
